SPEEDVIEW® INTERNAL SUN VISOR

NOTE: THE RETRACTABLE INTERNAL SUNVISOR CAN BE LOWERED AND RETRACTED, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT THE FACESHIELD IS UP OR DOWN.
To lower the Sunvisor, slide the lever down.
To retract the Sunvisor back into rhe shell, slide the lever up.

For your comfort, the sun visor has 2 positions:
1) Top lever opens and closes the sun visor.
2) The lower lever adjuster provides 2 height options.
(Lever forward: sun visor bottom edge at maximum coverage. Lever back: sun visor bottom edge 5mm higher).:
*Be sure to set the lower adjustment lever to your preferred height before operating the top sun visor lever.

COOL TECH LINER REMOVAL

CHEEK PADS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Occasionally, cheek pads may need to be removed for washing or replacement.
REMOVAL - Gently pull the cheek pad away from the interior shell wall to release the 3 snaps. Then gently pull the lower cheek pad sleeve out from between the EPS and shell wall.
INSTALLATION - Align and slide the cheek pad sleeve hook (white arrow) in between the shell and EPS.This will ensure that the cheek pad snaps will align. Next insert the entire cheek pad sleeve in between the shell and EPS. Some force might be required. Once inserted, pull the chin strap through the cheek pad opening, then align and connect the 3 snaps.
CROWN LINER REMOVAL
Occassionally the crown liner may require removal for washing, replacement or to change sizes.
1. Remove the cheek pads.
2. At the back of the helmet pull the crown liner away from the shell unsnapping the two snaps.
3. Pull the crown liner out of the helmet while gently detaching it from the forehead channel.
AERO SKIRT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
REMOVAL - Grasp and gently pull the Aero Skirt away from the chin bar (at angle shown), releasing the Aero Skirt tab from the chin bar channel. Next pull the remainder of the Aero Skirt sleeve free from between the shell and EPS.
INSTALLATION - Align and insert the Aero Skirt tab into the larger hole of the chin bar channel, then gently pry the bottom rubber gasket of the helmet back slightly to insert the remainder of the Aero Skirt between the shell and EPS.

AIRFIT® INFLATABLE LINER

INFLATION
While wearing the helmet press the large ball until you reach the desired fitment.
DEFLATION
Press the small button to release the air. DO NOT remove the helmet without first deflating the liner.

DO NOT modify, puncture, or damage the air bladders in any way. If the air bladders, or any other part of the inflation/deflation system becomes damaged or faulty, please contact your service provider.
The Aero Skirt does not require removal to access the AirFit inflate
Push-in the shield lock button and keep it pushed-in while lifting the shield upward.

EMERGENCY RELEASE SYSTEM

Locate the emergency labeling on the neck roll. Simply reach under the neck roll and grab the release strap, pull at a 45 degree angle towards front of helmet. The cheek liner will easily release from the helmet. This system should only be used by trained medical personnel.

NOTE: FIRST, OPEN OUTER SHIELD TO THE HIGHEST POSITION. THEN LOWER THE SUNVISOR TO LOWEST POSSIBLE POSITION.
FOR EASIER SUNVISOR REMOVAL: FIRST, REMOVE THE OUTER FACESHIELD.
To remove the sunvisor, firmly hold the sunvisor with your hand and gently pull one side out away from the helmet to release. Repeat to release the opposite side.
Reverse process for installation.

FACE SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT NOTE:
THE FACE SHIELD WHILE CAN ONLY BE REMOVED OR INSTALLED WHEN IN THE FULLY OPEN POSITION. NOT DOING SO WILL DAMAGE THE MECHANISM.
REMOVAL - 1) Fully open the shield. 2) Push the shield lever upward. 3) With the shield lever up, simultaneously pull the shield upward and away from the shell as shown. Repeat on the opposite side.
INSTALLATION - 1) Push and hold the lever upward. 2) Align the 3 tabs on the shield with the 3 corresponding channels on the baseplate. 3) Press the shield into the baseplate and slightly forward. The shield tabs will “click” into place. Open and close the shield a few times to ensure proper installation.

WARRANTY
All ScorpionExo® helmets have a warranty of 5 years.
Although there is no visible damage on your helmet, general wear and tear over time may affect overall function of protective helmet and increase the risk of injury in accident. It is advisable to replace your helmet no later than every 5 years from purchase.
Should you have a warranty claim, go to your Scorpion dealer with your invoice (this is you purchase proof, it's necessary in order to start the warranty process).
You can find our dealers' list on ScoprionExo websites listed below (choose your country and then the location).
The dealer will contact our after sales service and start the warranty process in order to check and/or repair your helmet.
