FACESHIELD REPLACEMENT

USING THE SUN VISOR
NOTE: THE RETRACTABLE INTERNAL SUNVISOR CAN BE LOWERED AND RETRACTED, REGARDLESS OF THE FACESHIELD POSITION.
To lower the Sunvisor, slide the lever down.
To retract the Sunvisor back into the shell, slide the lever up.
REMOVING THE SUN VISOR
NOTE: FIRST, OPEN OUTER SHIELD TO THE HIGHEST POSITION. THEN LOWER THE SUNVISOR TO LOWEST POSSIBLE POSITON.
To remove the sunvisor, firmly hold the sunvisor with your hand and gently pull one side out away from the helmet to release.
Repeat to release the opposite side. Reverse process for installation.
NOTE: THE FACESHIELD CAN ONLY BE REMOVED OR INSTALLED WHEN IN THE FULLY OPENED POSITION.
To remove the faceshield, place the helmet in front of you with the eye port facing away. Ratchet the faceshield up to the fully open position. Using both hands, push up the Y shape release latchet upward and the shield is able to release out of locking mechanism. Then, gently pull or “peel” the faceshield away from the helmet.
To install the faceshield, make sure the faceshield axis (1) and the stopper (2) are positioned properly as shown in the below picture. Then push the axis (1) first, and then push the stopper (2) strongly so that they can be sat on the right track. Test the faceshield by opening and closing it several times to verify it is properly installed.

EXO-COM® PORT & BATTERY SLOT

CHEEK PADS REMOVAL
Gently pull out the cheek pad to the other side until three plastic snaps are detached from the helmet.
Repeat the process to remove the cheek pad on the opposite side.
CROWN LINER REMOVAL
Once both cheek pads are removed grasp the crown liner near the back of the head and pull the liner toward the eye port to release it from the plastic snaps. Once unsnapped gently tug on the crown liner to release it from the forehead tension groove.
Reverse this process to reinstall the crown liner and cheek pads.
Push up the Locking Lever (1) to remove EXO-COM® Controller Cover (2). To remove the cover easier, you can put a not-too-sharp tool (such as ball pen) into the dent on the top of the cover, and push it up.
Put Mic/Speaker Female Connector (1) into the hole first, and then Battery Pack Male Connector (2) referring to the above picture. Install the EXO-COM® Controller (3), and make sure it is properly positioned by sitting on two bumps at the bottom. Connect the mic/speaker’s female connector to its male connector.
Remove the Battery Pack Cover (1) from the back/bottom side of the helmet, and then assemble it to the Battery Pack (2). Plug the male connector (3) to the Battery Pack, and put it back to the battery pack slot on the back of the helmet.

NOTE: EXO-COM® IS NOT INCLUDED INTO THE HELMET PACKAGE. IT IS SOLD SEPARATELY AS AN INDIVIDUAL RETAIL PACK.

Warranty Info

WARRANTY
All ScorpionExo® helmets have a warranty of 5 years.
Although there is no visible damage on your helmet, general wear and tear over time may affect overall function of protective helmet and increase the risk of injury in accident. It is advisable to replace your helmet no later than every 5 years from purchase.
Should you have a warranty claim, go to your Scorpion dealer with your invoice (this is you purchase proof, it's necessary in order to start the warranty process).
You can find our dealers' list on ScoprionExo websites listed below (choose your country and then the location).
The dealer will contact our after sales service and start the warranty process in order to check and/or repair your helmet.
