PEAK VISOR REMOVAL

ACTION CAM MOUNTING PLATE INSTALL
TO INSTALL:
1. First fully open the mouth vent door by pressing at the bottom of the vent door.
With the vent fully open, firmly pry/pull the vent door away from the vent housing.
With the door removed, simply align the included mounting plate screw hole with the screw hole in the vent housing, then insert and tighten the included screw.
2. Reverse to remove the cam plate and reinstall the vent door.

FACESHIELD REMOVAL

To avoid scratching the shield during removal, first turn the peak-visor center screw counter-clockwise by 1/4 turn [Fig 1. on Pg 2] and then lift peak-visor upward
1. The peak/visor will rotate backward and out of the way.
2. Open the shield until the triangle shapes are facing each other.
3. Once aligned, firmly grasp and pull the shield forward at an angle that matches the shield notch
4. Return the peak/visor to the riding position, press the top screw into place and turn the screw clockwise to full re-attach.

REMOVING THE SUN VISOR

The Retractable internal SunVisor can be lowered and retracted, with the faceshield in the open or closed position.
To lower the SpeedView® SunVisor slide the lever down
To retract the SpeedView® SunVisor back into the shell, slide the lever up.
NOTE: FIRST, OPEN OUTER SHIELD TO THE HIGHEST POSITION. THEN LOWER THE SUNVISOR TO LOWEST POSSIBLE POSITION.
To remove the sunvisor, firmly hold the sunvisor with your hand and gently pull one side out away from the helmet to release. Repeat to release the opposite side. Reverse process for installation.

PEAK VISOR ANGLE

AIRFIT® LINER INFLATION SYSTEM

INFLATION: While wearing the helmet, press the pump located at the front of the chin bar until you reach your desired fitment.
DEFLATION: Press the small pressure release button located beside the pump. DO NOT attempt to remove your helmet before deflating the air bladders.
DO NOT attempt to adjust while riding.
DO NOT modify, puncture, or damage the air bladders in anyway. If any part of the AirFit® system is damaged or faulty in any way. please contact ScorpionEXO®
Locate the emergency labeling on the neck roll. Simply reach under the neck roll and grab the release strap, pull at a 45 ̊ degree angle towards the front of the helmet. The cheek pads will easily release from the helmet. This system should only be used by a trained medical personal.
DO NOT attempt to adjust while riding. In case of accident DO NOT attempt removal on your own.

KWIKWICK® III LINER REMOVAL

CHEEK PADS REMOVAL
Occassionally the cheek pads may require removal for washing or replacement.
1. Remove the Aero Skirt.
2. Slide your thumb behind the cheek pad at the area closest to the AirFit inflation pump.
3. Gently tug the cheek pad away from the helmet interior wall. There are three plastic snaps that require unsnapping. At the same time slide the plastic trim out of the helmet channel.
Repeat this process for both cheek pads.
Reverse this process for installation.
CROWN LINER REMOVAL
Occassionally the crown liner may require removal for washing, replacement or to change sizes.
1. Remove the cheek pads.
2. At the back of the helmet pull the crown liner away from the shell unsnapping the two snaps.
3. Pull the crown liner out of the helmet while gently detaching it from the forehead channel.
Reverse this process for installation.
AERO SKIRT REMOVAL
The pliable Aero Skirt was designed to reduce wind from entering behind the face shield area, specifically to keep your face warmer in cold weather.
You do however have the option to remove the Aero Skirt for cleaning or for warmer riding conditions.
TO REMOVE
Simply tug on the Aero Skirt and it slides out of the rubber trim channel.
Reverse this process to re-install.

Small neodymium magnets are used for easier operation. The magnet force is not very strong, and generally each magnet size is not considered as dangerous.
However, consult your physician before using if you are a pacemaker wearer and not sure about the 7 effect caused by these magnets.

Warranty Info

WARRANTY
All ScorpionExo® helmets have a warranty of 5 years.
Although there is no visible damage on your helmet, general wear and tear over time may affect overall function of protective helmet and increase the risk of injury in accident. It is advisable to replace your helmet no later than every 5 years from purchase.
Should you have a warranty claim, go to your Scorpion dealer with your invoice (this is you purchase proof, it's necessary in order to start the warranty process).
You can find our dealers' list on ScoprionExo websites listed below (choose your country and then the location).
The dealer will contact our after sales service and start the warranty process in order to check and/or repair your helmet.
